An investigation has been launched after a cyclist was knocked in a hit-and-run in Dundee.

Emergency services were alerted to the incident on Glamis Road at around 11am on Friday.

The cyclist, a 66-year-old man, was taken to hospital for treatment. Efforts are being made to trace the driver of the vehicle which failed to stop.

Constable Matthew Boath said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to contact us.

“We’d also ask anyone with dash-cam footage that could assist our enquiries to come forward.”

Those with information have been urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 1107 of Friday, February 13, 2026.
