An investigation has been launched into a “deliberate” fire in Inverurie’s town centre.
Emergency services were called around 7.40pm on Monday to a fire at a premises on High Street in the town.
The blaze was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and no injuries were reported.
Constable Brooke Duncan said police are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed anything suspicious.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the fire.
