A major road has been closed following a collision in Aberdeenshire as Scotland is hit with icy conditions and snowfall.
Traffic Scotland confirmed that the northbound carriageway on the A92 following the A90 at Stonehaven.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Saturday.
It has not yet been confirmed how many vehicles were involved in the collision or whether anyone has been injured.
The collision comes as heavy snowfall and icy conditions wreak havoc across Scottish roads.
The Met Office has issued yellow warnings through Saturday morning for the northern coast and southwest of Scotland.
Forecasters warned the snowy conditions could affect some roads and railways, adding that there is an increased risk of injury from icy surfaces.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.35pm on Saturday, December 2, 2023, we were called to a report of a single vehicle crash on the A92 near Bridge of Muchalls.
“Emergency services attended and there were no reports of injuries.
“The road was closed to allow for recovery and fully reopened around 7.45pm.”
