A crash closed a major road in both directions on the A95 in Moray for over 14 hours.
Traffic Scotland warned drivers of a closure in both directions on the road stretching from Craigellachie to Elgin due to a collision at around 5pm on Tuesday, April 23.
Emergency services responded to the scene with heavy traffic building up and diversions put in place at around 9pm.
It was confirmed by Traffic Scotland that collision investigation works were underway at around 6.25am on Wednesday morning.
Police advised motorists to avoid the area before the road was cleared at around 7am after vehicles were recovered.
A Police Scotland statement read: “The A941 near Craigellachie has now fully reopened following a crash yesterday.
“Motorists are thanked for their patience while investigations were carried out.”
The Scottish Ambulance Service and Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have been contacted for comment.
