Google MapsA man has been arrested after a woman was allegedly stabbed near the Dundee docks.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Stannergate Road at around 10.50pm on Wednesday following reports of a serious assault.
A 35-year-old woman was taken to the hospital for treatment, and officers have arrested a 23-year-old woman in connection.
An investigation to establish the full circumstances is still ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.50pm on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, officers received a report of a serious assault on Stannergate Road, Dundee.
“A 35-year-old woman was taken to hospital for treatment.
“A 23-year-old man has been arrested and enquiries are ongoing.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.”
