A man is seriously injured in hospital after being struck by a car in Moray.

The 36-year-old was rushed to the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary following the collision in Balvenie Street in Dufftown shortly after 8.05pm on Friday January 17 2025.

The driver of the grey Lexus IS 220D was uninjured.

The road was closed to allow for an investigation at the scene and has since reopened.

Enquiries remain ongoing, police said.
