A man has died after a crash involving a car and lorry on the A96 in Aberdeenshire.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash on the Aberdeen to Elgin road, near Huntly, at around 11am on Wednesday.
The incident involved a black Skoda Camiq and a white Iveco box van.
A 78-year-old man, the driver of the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.

There were no other reported injuries.
Officers confirmed the road remained closed at around 5pm and that diversions are in place.
Police Scotland is urging anyone with information regarding the crash to come forward.
Sergeant Pete Henderson said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man that has died and the other driver involved in this incident.
“Thanks to the members of the public that stopped to provide assistance and other road users for their patience.
“Our investigation to establish the full circumstances is ongoing and I would urge anyone with information, or who may have dash-cam footage from the area, to get in touch.”
