Man, 40, airlifted to hospital after car crashes into building

A man has been airlifted to hospital after a car crashed into a building in Buckie.

Road closures are in place around the Yardie area following the incident around 11.55pm on Tuesday.

The 40-year-old male driver was airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment, and investigations into the circumstances are ongoing.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Residents are thanked for their patience as a structural assessment takes place.”
