Fubar News/XA man and woman have been arrested after police cars blocked part of the A90 in Aberdeenshire.
Officers confirmed they stopped a car on the A90 near Stonehaven at around 3.30pm on Thursday.
Drivers were told to expect to delays as pictures shared on social media showed multiple police cars and officers blocking the road.
Police Scotland confirmed a man and woman were arrested.
Enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.30pm on Thursday, March 20, officers, acting on intelligence, stopped a car on the A90 near Stonehaven.
“A man and a woman have been arrested and enquiries are ongoing.”
