A serious road crash has forced the closure of the southbound carriageway of the A90 near Dundee.
The two-vehicle collision happened shortly after 1.00am between Invergowrie and Longforgan.
Police Scotland said a man and woman were taken to hospital following the incident and inquiries are ongoing.
Drivers have been diverted onto the A923 to Coupar Angus and the A92 Tay Road Bridge.
The carriageway remained closed ten hours later, with motorists warned traffic was still slow on the northbound route into Dundee.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers attended a crash involving two vehicles which happened around 1.05am on Monday, June 13, 2022.
“A man and a woman have been taken to hospital and enquiries are ongoing. The road has now re-opened.”
