A man has been arrested after armed police were called to attend a disturbance in Aberdeen on Tuesday morning.
Emergency services were called to the Oldcroft Place area of the city at around 9.30am on Tuesday.
Footage shared on social media shows firearms officers rushing into a block of flats.
A 34-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the disturbance.
An investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.30am on Tuesday, April 7, we received a report of a disturbance in the Oldcroft Place area of Aberdeen.
“A 34-year-old man has been arrested in connection, and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
