A man has been arrested after cocaine and cannabis worth £65,000 was seized from a house in Aberdeen.

Officers searched a property in the city’s Hilton Avenue on March 27, following an “intelligence-led operation”, and found the drugs.

A 49-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the seizure. He was due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Tuesday.

“We remain wholly committed to disrupting county lines activity,” said detective constable Karen Maxwell.

“We will use all resources at our disposal and take any action necessary to rid our communities of drugs and reduce the harm they cause.

She continued: “We acknowledge the misery drug misuse can cause in the communities and we rely on support and information from the public to help combat this.
