iStockA man has been arrested and charged in connection with a robbery in Aberdeenshire.
The incident occurred at a Co-op on Provost Davidson Drive in Ellon on Thursday evening.
A 46-year-old man is expected to appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court on Tuesday in connection with the incident.
Detective Inspector Martyn Thomson said: “Thankfully incidents like this remain extremely rare in the north east and I’d like to thank the public for their assistance with this investigation.”
