Police are appealing for information after a man was attacked in broad daylight on a city street.
The 20-year-old also had his wallet stolen in the assault that took place in Perth on Tuesday afternoon.
He was walking along St Catherine’s Road at around 12.30pm when he was targeted by two men.
Investigating officers have now released descriptions of the men they are looking to trace in connection with the attack.
Both are described as being in their mid 30s to early 40s and between 5ft6 and 5ft8.
They also had beards and were wearing dark clothing consisting of tracksuits and hooded jumpers. One of the men was also wearing a hat.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time or who has any other information which may assist us to get in touch.”
