Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage girl was assaulted by a man while she was walking her dogs.
The 19-year-old victim was walking two dogs in the Hilltown Park area of Dundee at around 10pm on Tuesday, January 23, when she was assaulted.
The man, described as being around 40 years old with long curly grey or light coloured hair and of stocky build, was bitten by one of the dogs before he made off.
He was wearing a red cap, a light blue windbreaker jacket and black cargo or work trousers.
The man ran off in the direction of James Street.
Police say the woman involved was left “shaken” but uninjured as they appealed for witnesses.
Detective Sergeant Paul Walker said: “We would urge anyone who may have information or any footage from a dashcam or private CCTV from the area to get in touch.
“If you can help, please call 101, quoting reference 3711 of 23 January, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
