Man charged after £12,500 worth of cannabis and cocaine seized in Forres

A man is due to appear in court after cocaine and cannabis worth thousands of pounds were found at a Forres property.

On Saturday, September 26, officers executed warrants at a property in Corries Way, Forres.

According to police, cocaine worth an estimated £7,000 and cannabis worth an estimated £5,500 was found within.

A 24-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the seizure. He is due to appear in court this week.

Constable Mackinnon, Moray Community Investigation Unit, said: “We remain committed to taking appropriate action against people profiting from the sale of illegal and harmful substances.
