STV NewsA man has been charged in connection with the death of a retired doctor in Angus.
William Yule, 90, was found dead at around 1.10pm on Tuesday at home on Hillside Road in Forfar.
A 31-year-old man has been charged and is due to appear at Forfar Sheriff Court on Thursday.
Previously, a Police Scotland spokesperson said: “There will be police activity in the area and additional patrols to provide reassurance to members of the community.
“Anyone with concerns can approach these officers.”
