A man has been arrested following an assault at Pittodrie stadium during Aberdeen’s match against Qarabag.
The incident took place at around 9.10pm – during the second half of the Europa Conference League qualifier.
Police Scotland confirmed a 65-year-old man has been charged in connection with the attack on a 26-year-old man.
The incident took place around 9.10pm on Thursday, 26 August, 2021.
Officers previously issued a CCTV image appeal as part of their investigation.
The man is expected to appear in court at a later date.
