A man has been charged after an assault left a 70-year-old man with “serious” injuries in Dundee.
Officers were alerted to the incident that happened at Camperdown Park around 2.30pm on Sunday.
Police said a man and woman were walking in the park, when the man, aged 70, was assaulted by another man walking a white Samoyed dog.
The 70-year-old was taken to Ninewells Hospital with “serious, but not life-threatening” injuries.
Police confirmed that a 39-year-old man has been charged and is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court at a later date.
