A man has been charged in connection with the alleged attempted murder of a man in Dundee.
A 38-year-old man was found with serious injuries on Strathmartine Road around 12.35am on July 9.
He was taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital where he remains for treatment.
Police have now confirmed a 24-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

A 33-year-old man was also arrested in connection with the incident. He was released pending further enquiries.
Detective chief inspector Keith Duncan said: “I’d like to thank the local community for their help and patience during our investigations.
“There will continue to be a police presence in the area while our enquiries are ongoing, however I want to reassure the public there is no wider risk.”
