iStockA man has been charged after a ten-month-old boy fell unwell at a property in Perth.
Emergency services were called to a home on Rannoch Road around 5.40pm on April 29 following reports of a baby boy having taken unwell.
The ten-month-old was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police have now confirmed a 37-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection.
He is due to appear at Perth Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.40pm on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, we received a report of a 10-month-old baby boy having taken unwell at a property on Rannoch Road, Perth.
“Emergency services attended, and he was taken to hospital for treatment.
“A 37-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection and is due to appear at Perth Sheriff Court on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.”
