A man has been charged after a number of dead and uncared-for dogs were discovered at a property in Dundee.
Police were called to an address on Ballindean Road around 3.35am on Tuesday following reports of animal cruelty.
Officers discovered “a number of dead and uncared” for dogs inside.
A 31-year-old man is due to appear in court in connection with the Dangerous Dogs Act, animal cruelty and welfare.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 3.35am on Tuesday August 20, 2024, we received a report of animal cruelty within a property in Ballindean Road, Dundee.
“Officers attended and a number of dead and uncared-for dogs were found within.
“A 31-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the Dangerous Dogs Act, animal cruelty and welfare.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and he is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.”
