A man has been charged after 93 pregnant sheep were chased by a dog in Perth.
The ewes were chased on March 16, 2023 at Duchally Road in Auchterarder.
A 26-year-old has been arrested and charged in connection with worrying livestock.
Police said a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
While dog owners are often unaware of the impact their pets can have on livestock, it is legally their responsibility to ensure attacks and worrying don’t happen, according to the Police Scotland website.
The stress caused to livestock by the presence of a dog, could cause abortion or miscarriage in the case of female livestock.
