A man has been charged after an electric motorcycle rider was injured in a crash with a car in Aberdeen.
Police were called to a report of a crash involving a car and an electric motorcycle on Cattofield Place around 9pm on Saturday.
Emergency services attended and a 22-year-old man, the rider of the motorcycle, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where his condition is described as critical, but stable.
A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.
The road re-opened around 2.30pm on Sunday, and police say enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland statement read: “Police received a report around 9pm on Saturday, June 21, 2025, of a crash involving a car and an electric motorcycle on Cattofield Place in Aberdeen.
“Emergency services attended and a 22-year-old man, the rider of the motorcycle, was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where his condition is described as critical, but stable.
“A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
“He is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday, June 23.
“The road re-opened around 2.30pm and enquiries are ongoing.”
