A man has been charged after items were thrown from one vehicle to another in Aberdeenshire.

The incident occurred on the A90 heading northbound near Laurencekirk between 12.30pm and 12.45pm on Thursday.

A grey BMW 3 and a grey Range Rover Sport were travelling at low speeds at the time of the incident. Items were thrown from the BMW towards the Range Rover, causing damage.

A 33-year-old man has been charged in connection with a road traffic offence and a report is due to be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

Constable Scott Walmsley said: “Enquiries remain ongoing and we are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact us.

“We also ask drivers in the area at the time with dash-cam footage to please come forward.”
