A man has been arrested and charged after medication described as “extremely harmful” to humans was stolen from a veterinary practice in Aberdeenshire.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday morning at Strathbogie Veterinary Centre on Gordon Street in Huntly.
Veterinary equipment was also stolen from the premises during the raid at around 2.45am.
Police said they were “eager” to track down the stolen medication as it “could be harmful to humans”.
They said the medicine was in 50ml and 100ml bottles and urged anyone who was offered anything like that to contact police immediately.
Officers have since arrested and charged a 35-year-old man in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday, June 20.
