A man has been charged after multiple parked cars were stolen during the weekend across Aberdeen.
Between January 31 and February 2, parked cars were stolen or attempted to be stolen from streets, including Cattofield Place, Picktillum Avenue, Sunnyside Road, and Belmont Road.
Police have confirmed a 44-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection.
He is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on February 4.
The force urged drivers to take steps to protect their vehicles from theft.
Detective constable Fergus Anderson said: “I would like to remind motorists of steps that can be taken to secure your vehicle.
“Always lock your car, even if you are returning shortly, and do not leave any valuables on show.”
