A man is due to appear in court after nearly quarter of a million worth of drugs were found at a property in Aberdeen.
Police executed a warrant at the property in the Kirkhill Road area of the city around 8.45am on Thursday where a 24-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with drug offences.
Cannabis plants with a potential street value of £240,000 were allegedly discovered by Police Scotland’s Community Investigation Unit.
The man is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Friday.
Sergeant Mark Rennie said: “Drugs cause misery in our communities and Police Scotland is committed to disrupting the cultivation and sale of illegal substances.
