A man has been charged after a rush hour crash on the A9 left two teenagers in hospital.
The road, near Kindallachan, was closed in both directions for around three hours when two cars were involved in a collision at around 7am on Monday.
Two men, an 18-year-old and a 19-year-old, were taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.
Their current condition is unknown.
Police Scotland confirmed a 59-year-old man had since been charged in connection with the crash.
A spokesperson said: “The driver and passenger of one of the vehicles, an 18-year-old man and 19-year-old man, were taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.
“A 59-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident.
“The road was fully reopened around 2.15pm.”
