iStockA man has been arrested and charged following a deliberate blaze at a ground-floor property in Perth and Kinross.
Emergency services were called to the fire which broke out in Errol around 3.55am on Monday morning.
Fire crews sent four fire appliances, including a high-reach vehicle, to the scene.
Police confirmed the A90 was shut at Monks Walk, as fire crews attended the blaze.
A 58-year-old man has since been arrested and charged in connection with the fire.
He is due to appear at Perth Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
A report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.
Police said the road remains closed and the public have been advised to avoid the area.
