A man has now been charged in connection with a sexual offence involving a teenage girl at a block of flats in Aberdeen.
Police were called to Persley Den View on Thursday, July 16.
Officers arrested an 18-year-old man in connection with a sexual offence involving a 14-year-old girl.
The man has now been charged and is due to appear in court at a later date.
A police spokesperson said: “A man arrested on Thursday, July 16, in connection with a sexual offence involving a 14-year-old girl at a property on Persley Den View, Aberdeen, has now been charged.
“The 18-year-old man was released on an undertaking to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court at a later date.”
On the same day, a protest was held in the same area, organised by Unite the Clans – formerly known as Aberdeen Against Illegal Migration.
A 29-year-old man was arrested in connection with a disturbance and issued a recorded police warning.
The group eventually left the area.
