A man has died after being pulled from the water at Aberdeen beach.
Police were called to the beach esplanade at 7.15pm on Tuesday, November 1.
A multi-agency rescue mission was attempted after reports of concern for the man, including coastguard and lifeboat crews.
The man was recovered from the water at around 9pm.
He was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, but was pronounced dead a short time later.
Officers indicate that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
A report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.
