A man has died after being struck by a car in Aberdeen.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Dyce Drive near to Upper Kirkton, Dyce, at around 10.45pm on Thursday.

The incident involved a black Citroen C1 car and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a 34-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers said there were no other reported injuries.

The road was closed for investigations and reopened around 10.15am on Friday, May 16.

Police Scotland is urging anyone with information regarding the collision to come forward.

Sergeant Sarah Ritchie said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who has died at this difficult time.

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances, and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to contact us.

“We also ask anyone driving in the area at the time to check if they have dash-cam footage that can help with our investigation.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 4124 of May 15, 2025.”
