A man has been charged with assault and firearms offences after two people were allegedly attacked at a city hospital.
Piotr Huczynski is facing a total of 14 charges over an incident that took place at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on Friday night.
The hospital’s Accident and Emergency Department was evacuated and put on lockdown after emergency services were called around 5.30pm.
Two people were treated for injuries at the scene.
The suspect, from Aberdeen, appeared at the city’s Sheriff Court on Monday.
The 37-year-old has been charged with two counts of threatening and abusive behaviour, assault, being in possession of a firearm designed to discharge noxious substances, reckless discharge of a firearm, carrying an offensive weapon, two counts of assault to injury, three road traffic offences, two drugs offences, and breach of the peace.
He made no plea and has been remanded in custody with his next court appearance scheduled for next week.
