‘Cherished mother’
Mother and artist Lili Stojanova has been remembered as a woman of “remarkable talent” and a “true artist in every sense”.
In a statement released by Police Scotland, the 54-year-old’s family said: “We are heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Lili, a cherished mother, grandmother, daughter and a woman of remarkable talent.
“A true artist in every sense. She expressed herself through her art, which was a reflection of her gentle heart and unique soul. Losing her is a tragedy, and it is something our family is struggling to comprehend.
“As we grieve this unimaginable loss, we kindly ask for privacy and space to mourn and remember her in peace. We ask the public and media to respect our boundaries and allow us to honour her memory with the dignity and love she deserves.”
