A man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder following a raid by armed police.
Firearms officers were called to an address on Earlston Avenue, Dundee, around 12.10pm on March 14, following reports of concern for a person.
A gun was fired by police during the incident and the circumstances have been referred to the Police Investigation and Review Commissioner.
Michael Leys, 25, appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court charged with assault to danger of life and attempted murder.
He made no plea and was remanded in custody.
Leys is due to appear again within the next eight days.
