A man is in hospital after being struck by a car while crossing the road in Dundee.
The incident happened around 9.10pm on Tuesday when the 34-year-old was crossing Coupar Angus Road near its junction with Landsdowne Gardens.
He was hit by a white Citroen C1 car which was being driven by a 23-year-old man with a 25-year-old male passenger – neither of whom were injured.
The pedestrian was taken to Ninewells Hospital in the city where he remains for treatment, with staff describing his condition as serious but stable.
Sergeant William Strachan said: “Our inquiries into the crash are continuing and we are appealing to anyone who saw the incident, particularly motorists who were in the area and who have dashcam footage, to get in touch.”
