A man has been taken to hospital and three others arrested after a street assault in Aberdeen.
Police were called to reports of an attack on Gaelic Lane at around 2.25am on Sunday.
The 40-year-old man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment to injuries.
Three men, aged 18, 19 and 20, were arrested and police said enquiries are ongoing.
Reports on social media say Back Wynd and Belmont Street surrounding the area have been cordoned off as officers investigate.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.25am on Sunday, February 19, police were called to a report of a 40-year-old man assaulted in Gaelic Lane, Aberdeen.
“The injured man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and three men aged 20, 19 and 18 years have been arrested in connection with this incident.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
