A man has been treated for injuries after being assaulted in an alleged weapon attack.
Police were called to a disturbance on Ruthrieston Circle, Aberdeen at around 4.25pm on Wednesday.
A 41-year-old man was found injured at the scene.
Emergency services also attended and the injured man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary before being discharged after treatment.
A 49-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
A police spokesman confirmed the arrest and said: “Enquires are ongoing.”
