Man missing for two days 'may have travelled 90 miles in electric car'

Police are searching for a grey electric car which could be parked up charging somewhere in Scotland.

A man who disappeared from Dundee two days ago may have travelled 90 miles in an electric car, police have said.

Kevin McHugh Barker was last seen in the Tom Johnstone Avenue area of the city around 9pm on Wednesday, April 24.

Officers believe the 38-year-old may have been driving a grey electric car which could be parked charging up somewhere in Scotland.

Police said he may have been in the Kirriemuir area on Monday, April 22 and Wednesday, April 24 before possibly travelling to Aviemore.

Sergeant Paul Hardie of Lochee Police Office said: “We are growingly increasingly concerned for the welfare of Kevin.

“We believe he may have been in the Kirriemuir area on Monday, April 22 and Wednesday, April 24 and then possibly moved on to Aviemore.

“He is believed to be driving a grey electric car which could be parked up charging somewhere in Scotland.

“Anyone who knows where he is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting 1239 of April 25, 2024.
