A man has been pronounced dead after an incident on a residential street in Moray.
Officers were called to Regent Street in Keith around 10.40am on Saturday.
Parts of the street were cordoned off as well as an ambulance and police car being pictured at the scene.
Police confirmed that the 44-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
Enquiries into the incident are “ongoing” but police believe there are not any “suspicious” circumstances surrounding the death.
A report will also be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.40am on Saturday, 20 January, police were called to a Regent Street, Keith.
“A 44-year-old man was pronounced dead.
“Enquiries are continuing however there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
