A man has been rescued by lifeboat after he fell into a harbour.
Another man jumped in to help after he saw the man in the water at Broughty Ferry, near Dundee, on Thursday afternoon.
The coastguard said Broughty Ferry RNLI inshore lifeboat went to the scene when the alarm was raised just before 1.30pm.
The crew reached the man and recovered him from the water within ten minutes.
He was taken to the lifeboat shed where he was checked over by an ambulance crew.
The other man managed to get out of the water safely.
