A 68-year-old man has been left “shaken” after he was robbed outside of a bar on Saturday afternoon in Perth.
The man was reportedly pushed to the ground by a female at around 4.30pm on November 19 outside a bar on North Methven Street and had a two figure sum of cash stolen.
While he was not injured, he has been left shaken by the incident, police said.
Police are now hunting for the suspect who is described as white, in her 30s and of slim build with fairish/dark long hair which was tied up at the time.
She was wearing a light green tracksuit with white trainers when the incident occurred.
Officers are checking CCTV in the area and making local enquiries, but have appealed for anyone with information to come foward.
Detective constable Liv McIntyre, Perth CID, said: “The man has been left shaken by this unprovoked attack and it’s vital we trace the person responsible.
“Officers have been checking CCTV as well as making local enquiries. The area was busy at the time I am sure someone will have seen the robbery take place.
“I am particularly keen to speak to a woman who asked members of staff within the bar to call for help. She may have witnessed what happened and could help with our enquiries.”
Anyone with information about what happened is urged to call officers via 101 quoting reference number 2356 of November 19, 2022. Details can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
