A man has been rushed to hospital following a serious crash involving two vans and an SUV in Aberdeenshire.
Police were called to the scene on the A947 on the Aberdeen to Banff road between St Katherines and Fyvie on Friday morning.
A 24-year-old man suffered serious injuries in the collision and was rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
The man was a passenger of a BMW X5 car which collided with a Renault Master van and a white Peugeot Boxer van.
No one else was injured in the incident.
Police are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Sergeant Sarah Ritchie of Police Scotland’s Road Policing Unit said: “Enquiries into the collision are still ongoing and anybody who may have witnessed the incident is asked to get in touch.
“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have seen any of the vehicles prior to the incident and could have dashcam footage.
“Anyone who can help is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident number 0835 of November 25.”
