A man was taken to hospital after being assaulted with a weapon at a house in Angus.
Officers were called to Little Nursery, Montrose, at around 7.25pm on Friday.
Emergency services attended and a 35-year-old man was taken to hospital.
Medical staff have described his injuries as minor.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to reports of an assault with a weapon at a property on Little Nursery, Montrose at around 7.25pm on Friday, June 10, 2022.
“A 35-year-old man was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
