A man was taken to hospital after being knocked down by a van in Aberdeen.

Emergency services were called to the cities Fontainhall Road at around 6.30pm on Sunday.

A male pedestrian was taken to hospital. His current condition is unknown.

A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed enquiries remain ongoing.

A statement read: “Around 6.30pm on Sunday, February 15, 2026, we received a report of a crash involving a male pedestrian and a van on Fontainhall Road in Aberdeen.

“The pedestrian was taken to hospital for treatment. Enquiries are ongoing.”
