A man was taken to hospital after being assaulted in Aberdeen.
Officers were called to Kettlehills Crescent at around 3.05am on Saturday, after a 23-year-old man was seriously assaulted.
He was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. His current condition is unknown.
Police are appealing for any witnesses into the incident to get in touch as enquiries continue.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.05am on Saturday, 10 June, police were called to a report of a 23-year-old man seriously assaulted in Kettlehills Crescent, Aberdeen.
“Police and Ambulance attended and the injured man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
“Enquiries are at an early stage to establish the exact circumstances surrounding this incident and anyone with information should contact 101 with reference 0538 of June 10.”
