ContributedA man has been taken to hospital after a glider plane crashed near Elgin.
Police are investigating after the aircraft came down within the grounds of Highland Gliding Club at Birnie.
Officers have secured the scene and are trying to establish the cause of the crash, which happened at around 4pm.
Police Scotland said they were made aware of a single seater plane crash at Easterton Airfield.
A male was taken to hospital as a precaution but no details of any injuries were provided.
