A man was taken to hospital after being seriously assaulted on a Perth street.
Emergency services were called to Strathtay Road, around 12.30pm on Thursday, after a 33-year-old man was attacked.
He was taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment.
His current condition is unknown.
Officers are continuing to investigate the incident and have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
Detective constable Mark Ross said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and we are working to trace those involved.
“I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have seen anything in the area around this time to get in touch.”
