A man using a walking aid has been robbed of his wallet after befriending a woman in Dundee.
The 59-year-old was walking with a cane when he was approached by the woman, described as being in her late 20s or early 30s, near to the city’s Keillor Centre on Thursday.
After the pair walked to Wellgate she asked the man to accompany her to the V&A museum.
When they got to the corner of Nethergate and West Marketgait they sat on grass near to the Mecca Bingo and the woman asked the victim for some money.
But when he took out his wallet, she grabbed it from him and ran away, stealing the wallet and its contents.
Police are now looking to trace the woman, described as white, with a medium build, long black hair and either a scar or tattoo on her left hand.
At the time of incident she was wearing a pink t-shirt, light blue jeans and black trainers with a white trim.
Police say she was walking with a limp and told the man her name was Danielle.
Anyone with any information regarding this incident has been asked to contact police on 101.
